Meet Mrs. Braun
I was born and raised in Texas with a passion for the outdoors and a love of science. Some of my earliest and most favorite memories are of kitchen science experiments, exploring plants, ponds, and rocks with my brother near our country home. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. As an undergraduate I played volleyball for the Mountaineers and was extremely active in extracurricular activities such as Campus Recreation, Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, and the Peer Education Team. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, especially hiking and camping with my husband and our chocolate lab, Bailey. I have a passion for all types of sports but swimming, volleyball, and soccer all hold special places in my heart. I look forward to helping each of my students become successful not only in my class, but outside as well. I hope I can inspire them to question and explore the wonderful world of science around them.
